Seventh Anvil Games

Draft for review, not yet published. Reflects the game build as of October 2026: no third-party SDKs yet; AdMob and native store billing planned. Update the partner table when SDKs are added, set the effective date, and have an attorney review before launch.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: [Month Day, 2026] · Last updated: [Month Day, 2026]

This Privacy Policy explains how Seventh Anvil Games LLC ("Seventh Anvil Games," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you play our mobile games, including Polar Bears vs. Warthogs (the "Games"), or visit seventhanvilgames.com (the "Site"). We're a small independent studio, and we try to collect as little information as possible.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write, such as device details or screenshots. We use it only to answer you. We don't ask you to create an account to play.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress, settings, purchase status and on-device leaderboards are saved only on your device. There are no cloud saves, and we can't see this data unless you send it to us.

Age check. The Game asks for a birth year in a neutral way when it first starts. The answer stays on your device and is used only to decide whether to show a grown-up check (a simple parental gate) before purchases and links that leave the Game. It is never sent to us or to any partner.

Information collected automatically by our partners

Right now the Game includes no third-party SDKs and makes no network connections, apart from opening our privacy and terms pages when you ask (behind the grown-up check for younger players). When we add ads and in-app purchases, these partners may automatically collect limited information under their own privacy policies:

PartnerPurposeInformation it may collect
Google AdMob [confirm ad network]Showing non-personalized, contextual ads and measuring ad performance. Requests are tagged as child-directed, and only ad sources certified for children's apps are allowed.Limited technical information needed to deliver an ad and prevent fraud: IP address (used to estimate country or region), device type, operating system, language, and app interactions with ads. Because ads are not personalized, the advertising ID is not used for behavioral advertising or profiling. See How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Apple App Store / Google PlayDownloads and in-app purchasesApple and Google process all payments. We never receive your card or payment details. We receive only a purchase confirmation so the game can unlock what you bought.
Analytics and crash reportingNone at launchWe don't use analytics. If we ever add crash reporting, it will be limited to fixing crashes, will collect only crash logs, device model, OS and app version (and possibly IP address and a random install ID), will never use an advertising ID, and this table will be updated first.

Our Site is a simple static website hosted by Netlify, which may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on the Site.

2. How we use information

3. Ads in our Games

Because children may play our Games, we show only non-personalized, contextual ads to everyone. We don't use behavioral or interest-based advertising, don't build advertising profiles, don't retarget, and don't show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, because we don't track. Ad requests are tagged as child-directed under COPPA, and we allow only ad sources certified for children's and family apps.

Ads appear between rounds or in clearly marked places, and we design them not to trick players into tapping. Buying Remove Ads turns off interstitial ads in that game. Optional rewarded ads stay available if a player chooses to watch them. In-app purchases need the Apple ID or Google account holder's approval, so parents can use Apple's Ask to Buy, Screen Time, or Google Play purchase approvals to control spending.

4. How we share information

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share information only:

We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

5. How long we keep information

Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you and for our records, generally no more than [24] months. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete the game. Our partners keep information according to their own policies.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold, including two-factor authentication on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Children's privacy

Our Games are made for players of all ages, including children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and design the Games to collect as little as possible:

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what COPPA allows without verifiable parental consent. If a child emails us, we use the email only to reply once (or to reach the parent) and then delete it. Parents and guardians can contact privacy@seventhanvilgames.com to ask what information we have about their child, to have it deleted, or to stop further collection.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU, UK, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising or "sales" (which we don't do). To make a request, email privacy@seventhanvilgames.com. We'll respond within the time the law requires and won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Because we don't run player accounts, the fastest way to delete data on your device is to delete the game. For data held by our ad or analytics partners, we'll help you contact them,

If you're in the EU or UK, we rely on our legitimate interests to run and secure the Games, show non-personalized ads, and answer your messages, and on consent where the law requires it. We follow applicable rules for children's data, including the UK Age Appropriate Design Code. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. International users

We're based in the United States. Information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our partners operate, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Games change. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, give notice in the Games or on the Site.
